Château de Roussillon is the perfect setting for a rustic and romantic wedding in France.
Often mistaken for an abandoned ruin, the chateau is full of mystery and fairytale charm that make it a completely unique venue for your special day. Available for exclusive rental, the whole castle will be fully privatised for the duration of your stay, including the reception rooms, the bedrooms and the courtyards.

A medieval castle in the Lot valley

Welcome to Château de Roussillon! Steeped in history, this medieval castle dating back to the 11th century is a listed monument of France and once hosted King Louis XVII.

Ideally located in the heart of the French countryside in the Quercy region, the château is perched on a forest-covered hill with stunning views across the valley. Both secluded yet in walking distance of the village of St Pierre Lafeuille with its local amenities and extra accomodation options, Château de Roussilon is also just ten minutes drive from the town of Cahors, making it a perfect base to discover the area. With plenty of beautiful French villages, markets and fun activities, the region is also famous for its delicious locally produced food and wine.

Whether you want to explore historical sights, bike and kayak along the Lot river or visit the local Malbec vinyards for a winetasting, there is something here for everyone!

Ever dreamt of sleeping in a castle? Château de Roussillon is a unique destination for an original and unforgettable stay in south west France! The château has four independent apartments, that can sleep up to twenty people in total. You can hire the whole château, or book an individual apartment for your trip. If you are privatising for a wedding, there are many local options for extra accomodation available for additional guests.

We had an unforgettable stay at the Château de Roussillon for our wedding, the place transported us, the guests loved it. Very comfortable, spacious accommodation, a large kitchen which made it easy to prepare meals for 60 people. We thank Charlie and Julien for their warm welcome.
